“Amazon is doing great damage to tax paying retailers. Towns, cities and states throughout the U.S. are being hurt – many jobs being lost!”
Moreover, it seems that the President Donald Trump keeps his strange behavior attacking the greatest e-commerce company in the world, and retweeted early this Monday accusing the Post office for losing a fortune and criticizing them for working closely with Amazon (could you imagine why!).
“Only fools, or worse, are saying that our money losing Post Office makes money with Amazon. THEY LOSE A FORTUNE, and this will be changed. Also, our fully tax paying retailers are closing stores all over the country…not a level playing field!” He said in his tweet.
These outbursts of his are quite usual. It is well known that Donald Trump has already and many times lashed out against big technology companies such as Apple, Facebook, Google and others the same way he did with Amazon.
His tweets are becoming almost hysterical accusing the Washington Post of lying and of being under the influence of Jeff Bezos the founder and chief executive of Amazon, whom also owns the Post. But the Washington Post works independently.
