Fifteen people were killed in a road accident in Canada involving a bus carrying a team of young hockey players on Friday night.
The bus collided with a truck on a rural Highway about 17 miles north Tisdale, in the province of Saskatchewan. The bus heading to play against the Nipawin Hawks, was carrying the Humboldt Broncos junior hockey team.
The players, all Canadians, were between 16 and 21 years old.
The survivors were sent to the hospital with various injuries, “some of them in critical condition,” a police officer said at a news conference shortly before the announcement of a 15 deaths and 14 injured.
